Elon Musk Offers Rare Look inside Model 3 Factory

NASA has officially confirmed the hijacking of Elon Musk's Tesla in space on its official website.

Musk was actually replying a tweet from a Wall Street Journal reporter that included a CBS story on how his company was under stress to meet Tesla 3 production goals. Huang's family says he complained to Tesla service departments on multiple occasions that Autopilot had steered his vehicle on multiple occasions toward the barrier that his auto eventually crashed into.

"If we can send a Roadster to the asteroid belt, we can probably solve Model 3 production. Should they be anxious about what's happening with their Model 3 and when they will get their Model 3?"

Tesla reported a record loss of $675.4 million - $4.01 per share - on a revenue of $3.29 billion in the fourth quarter of 2017. "It's about the next 10, 20 years", he said.

The SEC didn't comment on Musk's tweet but referred to a 2013 press release that said sometimes social media can be used for financial disclosures but it is something it closely monitors.

Musk also pointed out that three of those months have already passed, so customers don't have too much longer to wait.

Federal investigators forced Tesla out of the probe of a deadly crash in California last month involving the electric carmaker's autopilot system.

Musk told CBS Tesla is now producing 2 000 Model 3 cars a week.

Tesla has been under fire amid a production slowdown for its Model 3 which is its lower-priced vehicle.

Moody's added its negative outlook for Tesla "reflects the likelihood that Tesla will have to undertake a large, near-term capital raise in order to refund maturing obligations and avoid a liquidity shortfall".

A Tesla spokesperson said in a statement that the NTSB requirement to not divulge information on Autopilot "fundamentally affects public safety negatively (and) we believe in transparency, so an agreement that prevents public release of information for over a year is unacceptable".

"Such releases of incomplete information often lead to speculation and incorrect assumptions about the probable cause of a crash, which does a disservice to the investigative process and the traveling public".

Asked by CBS if there was a defect with Autopilot, Musk responded: "The system worked as described, which is that it is a hands-on system".
