New Gmail Redesign Will Include "Confidential Mode"

New Gmail Redesign Will Include

TechCrunch has screenshots detailing the feature from the pre-release version of Gmail. It has been acclaimed for its simplicity, robust feature set, and usability. The two games can recognize both opposite and neighboring concepts, even sounds like "vroom" for motorcycle or "meow" for cat. According to a new leak, Google is also working on a new feature that will enable users to send emails which expire after a specified time, a Self Destructing Email.

In conclusion, the new surprising Gmail feature, Confidential Mode, will permit users to encrypt their sensitive emails so they won't be accessed by third-parties.

Google has confirmed that the launch is near, but they haven't released specifics at this time.

Gmail's expiring email will essentially become unreadable after some time. When clicked, a message pops up saying, "Options to forward, download or copy this email's contents and attachments will be disabled". These features are pretty similar to some found in the Microsoft Outlook Windows app, and Microsoft themselves are adding the ability to restrict emails on Outlook.com some very soon. This would be neat if sensitive information is being sent via the email.

It is an experiment of the company displaying its advancements in machine learning, letting computers communicate naturally. For now, there's no clarity on when the new Gmail will roll out for public use. The interface seems cleaner and more intuitive to use, and a new sidebar on the right should make multi-tasking easier too.

Google Research engineers say the experiment isn't dependent on keyword matching. TechCrunch's report notes that a confidential message doesn't have to be encrypted, which means that it's likely that Google can still see the content of the email.
