Battlefield V teaser all but confirms WWII setting

Battlefield 5 is the next major game to come from EA Dice and it is scheduled to make an unveiling on May 23 next week.

It's been rumored for a while now, but with every new piece of information about Battlefield V it's looking more and more likely that we're heading to World War II. Guru3D reiterated the same sentiment when it pointed out that the old style pilot glasses of the character could be from the Second World War. It'll be interesting to see if this year's Battlefield sports a new class or if EA and DICE are playing with the community?

More will be revealed during the Battlefield V reveal event on May 23rd, which is set to be hosted by The Daily Show's Trevor Noah.

Battlefield 1 featured a set of self-contained single-player stories that focused on different gameplay elements. And before the reveal event, we experienced constant teaser of the game.

The video game news site stated that there's a bit of a clue on the setting of the upcoming game in the trailer. Well, you may remember that VentureBeat pretty much leaked everything we know about the new Battlefield back in March.

Fans won't have to wait long to see what Battlefield V is all about.

We'll soon find out.

A full reveal stream is planned for Battlefield V on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:00 pm PDT and will be available on Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and the official website.
