CBS responds to Pauley Perrette's tweets about 'NCIS' and assaults

In a statement, the network said: 'Pauley Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her.

The Almost Famous star subtly raised concerns regarding her time on NCIS, claiming: "Maybe I'm wrong for not "spilling the beans" Telling the story, THE TRUTH".

'I feel I have to protect my crew, jobs and so many people.

Although the actress didn't respond officially, she tweeted to thank CBS for standing by her.

"Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern", said the statement. Please leave me alone. Through a series of Twitter posts after her final episode aired, Pauley claimed that she has never told the truth about her reasons for leaving NCIS and that certain tabloid articles were 'telling total lies about [her]'. But now I KNOW because it was ME!

In a series of tweets, Perrette alluded to the massive publicity machine keeping her quiet over what had really happened. She ended by explaining why she felt she needed to leave NCIS.

The activist went on to tell her followers that she is "trying to do the right thing", noting that "silence isn't the right thing about crime". She says it's "horrifying" if you're required to go to school or work where the bullying is taking place.

It concluded: "We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows".

Both Shivers and his wife pointed to rumours stemming from a report on Radar Online that suggest Perrette had a feud with her NCIS co-star Mark Harmon as something that speaks to her accusations of physical assault. Stay safe. Nothing is worth your safety.

Although the identity of the attacker was not mentioned, CBS may have revealed that they were aware of what happened to Pauley Perrette in an official statement, as per Fox News.

"Although she has done so much to hurt others while successfully portraying herself as the absolute opposite to the media and her fans, all I wish is for her to seek proper mental health treatment and to stop victimising innocent people in order to be recognised as a victim herself, or better, as a hero", she wrote.

She didn't share any further details related to the allegations, but Perrette mad her message clear - something wasn't right behind the scenes.

After hearing CBS's response, the former Abby actress tweeted her appreciation for their support. "They have always been so good to me and always had my back".

Shivers, 52, is now seeking personal injury damages from his ex, claiming she has done nothing but defame and harass him since they split.
