CHAPTER 2: SINISTER'S James Ransone to Play Adult Eddie

It: Chapter 2 has officially found its adult Eddie Kaspbrak in James Ransone.

Bean ("Transformers: The Last Knight") will play the older version of Stanley, while Ransome ("The Wire", "The First") will be Eddie. The film, based on the second half of Stephen King's novel, will see the grown-ups Losers' Club return to Derry, Maine after almost 30 years to finish their fight with Bill Skarsgard's Pennywise.

They'll also be playing adult versions of the kids we met in the first installment of the horror flick, with Hader playing Ritchie, McAvoy playing Bill, and Chastain playing Beverly.

Earlier, James Ransone had announced in a since-deleted tweet that he would be portraying Kaspbrak in the film.

Meanwhile, Bill Skarsgard will reprise his role as Pennywise from the first movie.

Andy Muschietti is back in the director's chair, working from a script written by Gary Dauberman.

The second chapter, a follow-up to the smash hit 2017 It reboot, will focus on the adult versions of the characters that were terrorized by the demon clown Pennywise. The sequel will bow on September 6, 2019, with production expected to start this summer. The film earned over $700 million at the worldwide box office, making it the highest-grossing horror movie of all time.
