Cops: Man punched pregnant woman and her service dog on flight

Manley later told police Zariel "took up more space than [he] felt it deserved", The Orlando Sentinel reported. All the people involved declined medical treatment, but the woman said she wants to prosecute and is willing to testify on court.

According to the police report obtained by HuffPost, the hostilities first began when Manley's wife, 56-year-old Petrini Manley, complained about being allergic to dogs during the plane's descent. Manley then got into the man's face and punched the woman, who is about 20 weeks pregnant.

The altercation continued once the plane landed at the Orlando International Airport.

Before police arrived, Manley allegedly punched Ramirez in the stomach and Silvay tackled him to keep him from evading police.

Hazel Ramirez, 21, and her boyfriend Matthew Silvay were traveling with their two children and the Great Dane, named Zariel. Manley also allegedly pushed Ramirez' young daughters, she told the station.

"It's amusing and hilarious that I would have punched her", he said.

Hazel Ramirez and her husband, Matt Silva, are both deaf. WFTV has cell phone video showing Silva, 30, kicking Manley, 59, in his seat.

"Unfortunately the man determined to leave so he ran and punched my belly then pushed my two daughters, they fell and cried so hard", Ramirez wrote in a message to News 6.

Two officers arrived at the scene of the scuffle as Timothy Manley passed by them, saying "It took you all long enough to get here", according to the report.

Frontier has since launched a press release relating to the incident, writing that the airline notified police "instantly".

"The safety and security of our passengers is our top priority at Frontier". "Upon deplaning Flight 1752 from Colorado Springs to Orlando, there was a confrontation between passengers".

Because the incident occurred on an airplane, the investigation will be handled by the FBI, Michelle Guido, Orlando Police Department spokeswoman, told the Orlando Sentinel.
