John Abraham teams up with Nikkhil Advani for Batla House

Nikkhil will direct John in #BatlaHouse.

After a span of 10 years, actor John Abraham is all set to collaborate with director Nikkhil Advani for his next venture Batla House. Will be filmed in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Nepal.

Nikkhil Advani has expressed excitement over collaborating with John Abraham in media reports.

Nikkhil Advani made his directorial debut in 2003 with Kal Ho Naa Ho starring Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta. According to reports, John will play the role of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, who has won eight President Gallantry Awards.

When asked about the project, Abraham said, "We have yet to meet, but I've been devouring all the material on him, and from what I've read, he seems like a humble man with an interesting back story".

You can question his acting skills, but you can't deny the fact that John Abraham often goes for quality over quantity when it comes to choosing the right movies. "We want to make films that are very relevant and topical". "We have been doing research on the subject of Batla House for four years, we have NOC from everybody". His next film is based on the true events of the Batla House Encounter Case in Delhi. He further added that the encounter will be shown from three perspectives-"that of the police, those present near the location, many of whom believed that the bullets flying were for the TV serial Swabhimaan, which was being shot in the vicinity just two days ago, and the real picture".

The film will bring the real-life incident of "Batla House Encounter", officially known as Operation Batla House, to the silver screen.

John Abraham is now gearing up for the release of his film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and is also starring in Milaap Zaveri directed thriller Satyamev Jayate.
