Manchester City to move for Chelsea winger Eden Hazard?

According to The Sun, the new English champions have been monitoring the Belgian's situation at the London club for a while.

Hazard is expected to be at Stamford Bridge next season as his family are settled in Surrey, however, he has admitted he will only commit to new terms should they match his ambitions on the field with new players.

The Sun quoted a source from the Etihad, who said: "The club would be at the front of the queue if Hazard becomes available this summer".

Discussing his plans for the summer transfer window this week, Guardiola told Sky Sports: 'Yaya [Toure] is leaving so we have to replace him, and maybe another one.

"The club have been keeping a watchful eye".

"Pep is refusing to spend money for the sake of it".

The winger, who is valued at £90million by Transfermarkt, has been a key player for Chelsea since he arrived from Lille and will be disappointed with the way the campaign has gone.

"Hazard is in his prime and requires no introduction to the rigours of the Premier League".

City missed out on signing Alexis Sanchez, and was also interested in Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez.

Paul Merson has named Eden Hazard as Chelsea FC's player of the season ahead of Willian.

Hazard has spent the last six seasons at Chelsea, winning two Premier League titles and scoring 88 goals from 299 appearances in all competitions.

'One or two more, no more.

Antonio Conte's side can still end the season with some silverware if the Blues manage to beat Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley.

The Belgium global has been attracting unwanted interest from Real Madrid and the Blues are determined to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
