Neymar says he has fears after returning from injury

Brazil superstar Neymar departed Madrid's Clasico rivals Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in a blockbuster €222 million deal last August.

"No-one is as scared as me", Neymar told TV Globo as he nears full fitness.

"But right now, I'm a coach of these players, and I value what they have done and what they are doing, whenever we have difficulties, they are the ones who are fighting". Having moved from Barcelona to Paris for a world-record fee, he showed no signs of feeling the pressure, quickly settling into life in the French capital and often looking a cut above any player in the league. Thanks to God, I have this new opportunity to become world champion with my country.

At the 2014 World Cup, he was the shining star for Brazil before a back injury ruled him out of the semi-final clash with Germany, which the Selecao lost 7-1.

Neymar was on Tuesday included in the 23-man provisional Brazilian squad for the World Cup which starts in Russian Federation on June 14. "I hope it is my cup".

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported about Neymar's frustrations concerning the rumours surrounding his future with PSG. If he is to gain match practice before the World Cup his chances will come in warm-up games against Croatia in Liverpool on June 3 and against Austria in Vienna three days later. Brazil will start its World Cup campaign against Switzerland June 17, followed by Costa Rica and Serbia in Group E.

The 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup will kick off on June 14th with hosts Russian Federation taking on Saudi Arabia in a Group A encounter at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow.
