Speaking with the organiser, 23-year-old Abbie Foster, she told us that although "Lovatics" were "deflated and disappointed", with many already queuing outside the venue, but that they were determined to turn the situation into a positive and "launched into action" to organise a singalong for the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer.

The show has been pushed back to June 29, while the London date will go ahead on June 25.

Pop star Demi Lovato will now perform at The O2 in two weeks' time after telling fans she was broken-hearted at being forced to cancel Sunday night's show due to illness.

Once again, the awesome power of fandom has revealed itself and brought people together - Abbie already can't wait to see her new friends at the rescheduled concert. unbelievable stuff!

"I'm so so so sorry to disappoint any of my fans in London that have traveled hours to be here by plane or vehicle, and to all of the fans that got these tickets for their birthday, holiday or any other special occasion. We are rescheduling the show, I'm just very very sick right now, and hopefully I'll be able to perform at the O2 again very soon".

Lovato's next date in the U.S.is on July 26 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. "Probably can't even come to the next date FUMING - understand you're not well but not a few hours before the event". She is also scheduled to perform in Latin America through the fall.

Bad news for Demi Lovato fans!

Lovato's fans, affectionately dubbed "Lovatics", haven't held her cancellations against her, instead sending her well wishes on social media - and some even serenaded her with her hit ballad "Skyscraper", which she said was so moving that it made her cry.

"She walked into his room without permission and grabbed him in his "area" and he freaked the fuck out hahahaha".

"For all of those coming at me [right now], listen to the lyrics of Warrior and maybe you'll have more compassion for someone who made a simple mistake. You don't have to educate me", she wrote.
