Plastic bans can work, but need planning and enforcement

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) urged Filipinos to stop using single-use plastic items that usually end up polluting the oceans and waterways. World Environment Day is the "people's day" for doing something to take care of the Earth.

Afrasiab from Business Dynamics gave a presentation on biodegradable plastic and said that plastic pollution is a grave issue and as a nation, it is high time to adopt value added solutions like use of biodegradable bags instead of plastic bags.
