Darin and Carl Get Married in a Wonderful Way

Getting married changed me. When the ceremony began I was completely overcome with emotion and my head was spinning.... felt out of control...wasn't able to really keep focused...that's because I was caught up in the details of ceremony...the guests...family...the very public nature of what i was doing. Then it came time for the vows.... All the chaos instantly ceased...the noise and confusion dissipated like a wind-swept fog. I had the most spiritual moment of clarity I've ever known. I knew I was doing the right thing. That this wasn't about sex...or security...or legal protection...or avoidance of loneliness. Rather that this is love. That Darin was the right match for me for life. That I was doing the right thing...that I had His support. That no one could steal this moment from me. This is marriage folks. This is a right for all not a privilege for the few. No one should interfere with the right to love. I want everyone to have the opportunity to witness/feel for themselves what I did...marriage equality is the only way.
