Houston, TX Gay Pride: June 25-26

Houston has one of the largest and most visible gay communities in the country. This year will mark the 32^nd anniversary of Houston’s Gay Pride celebration, which is called Pride, NOT Prejudice. The celebration will feature Annise Parker, the first openly gay mayor elected in Houston, as the Honorary Community Grand Marshal. Seattle Gay Pride: June 25-27

Considering that Seattle was voted the second fittest city in the U.S., expect to be surrounded by the physically fit, gym-fanatics, and visually pleasing people who take pride not only in their sexuality, but in their health and wellness as well. San Francisco Gay Pride: June 26-27

The largest LGBT gathering in the nation is going down this weekend. This year’s theme, “Forty and Fabulous,” expects no less than 200 parade participants, 300 exhibitors, and 19 stages and venues. WOW!  This is one heck of a festival that should definitely be on your list of pride festivals to attend in the country. Chicago Gay Pride: June 25-27

The rainbows have been taking over the city throughout the entire month of June, but this weekend, the people who represent the rainbow will be taking over the streets. All Midwesterners are encouraged to make a trip to Chicago, not only for the pizza, but for one of the largest festivals in the Midwest.
