School Gays: Finding Gay-Friendly Schools

A former school principal shares some tips to decide on a school for your gay- or lesbian-headed family.

Spring is here; and between tilling the vegetable garden and watching the finals of "Dancing with the Stars" (or "American Idol"), it's time to get the kids enrolled in school for next year. While some folks just trot their child over to the nearest public school, many other parents are driving themselves crazy looking for Harvard, Sesame Street, and Juilliard rolled into the perfect preschool for their beautiful little genius.
