What Men Need to Know about Prostate Cancer

African American men have a 60% higher risk of developing prostate cancer than Caucasian men.

Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer in the United States and affects 1 in 6 men.  It is estimated that a total of 240,890 new cases will be diagnosed in 2011, and that there will be 33,720 deaths from prostate cancer this year. Many medical experts believe that early detection is the key to surviving prostate cancer.
