Do You Know Grace?
In search of a life once again united with life and a self reconciled with self. Including "Amazing Grace" -- video by LeAnn Rimes
Grace is the ultimate gift a mate can give their loved one. It is also the best gift to give oneself. In grace, you find forgiveness and appreciation. Grace allows us to forgive our mates everything from leaving the sock near the laundry hamper to lying and cheating. From a place of grace, we can appreciate, rather than criticize, and laugh with, instead of at. When we think and act from grace, we get to skip all the drama and anxiety.
Forgiveness can be given to anyone for anything if we allow it, and it is from grace that allowing forgiveness comes.
We can never move on without forgiveness. A relationship is like a river with flotsam: When we do not forgive, the flotsam gets stuck on a rock, and even though the river keeps flowing, it continues to get snagged by the rock. Flow in life is essential to balance and joy, and when we are stuck in one place, we stagnate, just like a river blocked by debris.
