Encouraging gay and lesbian couples to not only recognize that “It gets better” but to be better

Welcome to 2012!

It’s another year, another month, another day. Another day that you have to make a choice. A choice to continue down the same path or a choice to adjust and become better -- better than you were yesterday, last month, last year.

I am sure most of you are aware of the “It Gets Better” campaign; if not, you must have been living under a rock. That campaign was created to encourage LGBT teens who were committing suicide to understand that while being different can be tough, it does get better.

This has been a very encouraging campaign with support coming from various high-profile people who made videos to demonstrate that it does get better.
