From strides in immigration to progress toward marriage equality, 2011 was a year filled with positive change for same-sex couples and our families all over America.

The year 2011 may not have seemed like a noteworthy year to some in regard to LGBTQ rights. But in fact, we witnessed significant changes throughout the world, and in America in particular, when it comes to gay rights. From strides in immigration to marriage equality, 2011 was a year full of change for same-sex couples all over America.
