I don’t look for stories that will make your head explode. Honest. They just appear. Sadly, they appear with horrifying regularity. And they ALWAYS appear on the days when I sit down to write this column.

The story that caught my eye today comes courtesy of the Rev. Pat Robertson, who made a statement this week on his "700 Club" (broadcast on ABC’s  Family Channel). He claimed – stop eating and don’t drink anything unless you want it to go projectile – that progressives support abortion because they want to make straight women equal with lesbians.
