Dear Members and Friends of 10,000 Couples, 7-1-10

You are receiving this notice because at some point during the last 6 months you signed up for (#1) 10,000 Couples e-magazine at www.10thousandcouples.com, (#2) our current email list, and/or (#3) the 10,000 Inspiring Couples Gallery at www.joined-together.net.  We wish to advise you that several upgrades have been made to both websites. These upgrades were made to increase member benefits, subscriber appeal, and site functionality. These upgrades may also impact you.

WHAT DID WE DO?

• We do not distribute our monthly e-magazine via email newsletter. We use the email list of newsletter subscribers as our notification email list. One time a month, the people on this list  are sent a link to the latest edition of the magazine. On occasion, you may also receive an important notice or update, like this one.
• We have changed the way our newsletter system works. With our host publishing company, we integrated with MailChimp, a mail-delivery program, to provide a more robust solution for staying in contact with Subscribers. Since our new email looks different than before, your spam filter may have blocked it as junk mail and you may be missing the very issues you were waiting for. According to our latest report, a number of you have already missed several outstanding issues, stories and news reports. We apologize and regret that some of you have missed these fabulous articles. We invite you to view these past issues.
• To grow our subscriber base, we made access to our Gallery, monthly anniversary celebrations, and certain articles MEMBERS ONLY. If you joined the Gallery, our Facebook Group, or even our email list, we thank you. If you are not a free 10,000 Couples subscriber however, you do not have member access. For this reason, we urge you to subscribe.
• We have increased our efforts to recruit same-sex couples for the Gallery. Every week we receive notes from viewers around the world who find these couples encouraging and inspirational. We also find that the growing number of anniversary celebrations each month is especially enjoyable. If you or your favorite couples are not yet featured in the Gallery, we urge you, and them to enter. As a Gallery couple you receive a personal note of congratulation from 10,000 Couples if your email listing also includes the date of your anniversary.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

• Confirm your magazine subscription.
• Confirm your email listing.
• Join the 10thousandCouples Inspiring Gallery.
• Remove us from your email's junk mail list and add us to your safe list.  

That’s it. We’re getting ready to send out the next edition of 10,000 Couples so be ready! We look forward to sharing all the latest, from personal reflections and relationship tips to featured couples and wedding plans.

If you intend to be removed from the 10,000 Couples member group, please email me a quick explanation of why you are no longer interested. Your feedback helps us address concerns and problems.
